2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalise the educational experience.
To generate AI-powered quiz questions, analytics, and tutoring responses.
To enable teachers and institutions to track student progress.
To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
To send important notifications about your account or the Service.
To process fee payments (for institution features).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data in these limited cases:

With your institution: Teachers and institution admins can view student performance data within their batches.
AI Processing: Educational queries are processed by Google Gemini to generate responses. No personally identifiable information is sent to AI models.
Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored securely on cloud servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
Authentication is handled via Firebase Authentication with industry-standard security.
Session tokens are stored locally on your device for persistent login.
We implement regular security reviews and updates.

5. Student Privacy (COPPA & FERPA)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Educational institutions using our platform are responsible for obtaining necessary parental consents as required by COPPA, FERPA, or equivalent local regulations.

6. Your Rights

Access your personal data stored in the Service.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Delete your account and all associated data by contacting support.
Export your quiz and analytics data.
Opt out of non-essential communications.

7. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing lrnaitech@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account". We will permanently delete your data within 30 days.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

The app uses localStorage to maintain your login session and cache educational data for offline access. This data remains on your device and is cleared when you log out.

9. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google): Authentication and user management.
Google Gemini: AI-powered educational content generation.
Railway: Cloud hosting infrastructure.

10. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
